Everyone made me feel very comfortable; it felt like family. - Debby I can't remember when I laughed so much in such a short time. - Ann The first Arundel Affair was held in 1997, and since then we have had twelve such events. The name 'Arundel Affair' was coined by Norman Felton, Executive Producer of the U.N.C.L.E. series. The conventions are small, extremely friendly
get-togethers, where we spend a weekend immersing ourselves in our favourite
TV programme. The weekend has more of a 'houseparty' feel than the usual large conventions. This is the place to meet other U.N.C.L.E. / RV / DMcC fans - and people come, on a regular basis, from all over England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Belgium, Portugal and the USA. Arundel was chosen as the venue for the conventions
because of its ease of access. London Gatwick Airport is less than an hour away by train. Again, this is a direct line. The small town of Arundel is dominated by its castle and cathedral and is a popular tourist destination. And, finally, David McCallum was a frequent visitor when his parents were residents of the town! Dates for the next convention are 5th & 6th
March 2011. It will be held at the Comfort
Inn, Arundel |
